Emergency road closure in the Parish of Hellington

In accordance with the provisions of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, the Norfolk County Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to Anglian Water repairs to a burst water main the use by vehicles of the C375 Back Lane from 30 metres northeast of its junction with A146 Loddon Road north eastwards for a distance of 20 metres in the PARISH OF HELLINGTON will be temporarily prohibited from 4th September 2020 to 10th September 2020 for the duration of the works, expected to be about 7 days within the period. If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 21 days.

Alternative route is via: Back Lane, Hellington Hill, Run Lane,Bullockshed Lane, Bramerton Lane, Framingham Lane, Bramerton Lane, A146 Loddon Road (Alpington/ Rockland St. Mary/ Yelverton/ Framingham Pigot/ Holverston/ Hellington/ Bergh Apton/ Bramerton).

(If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order)

Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
