Recent planning applications

Over the past two days we have been informed about two planning applications which are likely to be of interest to residents.

Current gatewayPlanning application 2019/1958 is a proposal to demolish Church Farm Bungalow in the Street and to erect two single storey and one 2 storey dwelling on that land. Earlier this year that an application to erect seven 2 storey dwellings on that site was turned down by South Norfolk Council. The plans for the latest proposal are quite different and can be found here Homestead plans.

Screenshot 2019-10-04 at 20.39.29The second planning application, 2019/1931, relates to work at the gas booster station which is on the left as you travel down Slade Lane, a little before the junction with the A146. This facility is managed by Cadent who are planning to improving the security at this site.  You can find their most recent planning application at Cadent gas station.

If there is sufficient public interest I will call a special meeting of the Parish Council to discuss these two proposals. If you would be interested in attending such a meeting please let me know by emailing wheeldonbpc@icloud.com or by phoning 01508 538279.
